How this differs from the real watch
- The SRP777 uses Seiko's 4R36 movement with a 41-hour reserve and hardlex crystal. This build uses an NH36 day-date movement, close in spirit but not the same calibre.
- The real Turtle's cushion case is stamped and finished at Seiko's own factory. This mod case matches the silhouette, not the exact case construction.
- Seiko's Turtle bracelet has its own clasp and diver's extension. The compatible beads-of-rice bracelet here is a common vintage-style match, not the factory part.
Dial
A plain black diver dial keeps the focus on the Turtle's cushion case. The day-date divemaster dial matches the NH36 movement option.
Movement
Choose the NH36 for a day-date dial, or the NH35 if you pick a date-only or no-date dial instead.
