How this differs from the real watch

The real Alpinist uses Seiko's 6R35 movement with a 70-hour reserve, an internal rotating compass bezel, and a cathedral hand set under a domed sapphire crystal. No mod case offers the Alpinist's internal compass bezel, so this build cannot reproduce that function.
This build uses an NH35 with roughly a 41-hour reserve, and its dome is a flatter mineral-style crystal look rather than Seiko's boxed sapphire.
Seiko's own green sunburst dial texture and gold-tone furniture are proprietary. The compatible green dial and gold cathedral hands here match the colour palette, not the exact finish.
